Website privacy

This website introduces GenieDojo, a game in development, and is operated by 13 CONSULTANCY LIMITED, Hong Kong.

Pre-registration is optional and for adult parents or guardians. We collect your email address, chosen website language, registration time and a record of your consent. We do not ask for children’s names, ages, school, learning records or other child details.

With your consent, we use your email only for GenieDojo playtest invitations and launch notifications. Joining does not create a game account, purchase anything or guarantee a playtest place. No general advertising list is included.

Email registrations are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database and accessed by the operator to manage this list. Cloudflare also processes technical requests, including IP address and headers, to deliver and protect the site. Short-term rate limiting uses network information; we do not store IP addresses in the registration database.

We do not use advertising analytics or browser storage. The site does not set its own cookies. This does not mean that hosting systems retain no technical logs.

You may withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or request access, correction or deletion by emailing stephen@geniedojo.com from the registered address. We will use only the information needed to process the request. Please do not send identity documents or children’s details.

We retain registrations while the playtest and launch notification list is active and review inactive registrations after 12 months. On withdrawal, the address is removed from the active notification list. Data will not be used for unrelated marketing or provided to another organisation for its own marketing.

This notice applies to the website and pre-registration. The game’s data practices and privacy policy will be prepared separately before release. No notification emails are sent automatically when you register.
